Bahrain pledges support to Libyan people

HM King Hamad with head of Libya's National Transitional Council Mustafa Abduljalil

Bahrain pledged to bolster relations with Libya for the sake of both countries and peoplesinterests.
Su Majestad el rey Hamad bin Isa reiterated the stance as he received at his residence in Paris head of Libya’s National Transitional Council Mustafa Abduljalil.

He expressed the hope that the Friends of Libya conference, recently held in France, would muster all international efforts to ensure the reconstruction of Libya, after the NTC had taken over.

HM King Hamad wished the NTC members success to achieve the Libyan people’s aspirations to freedom and democracy and lay the pillars of security and stability in Libya, lauding good fraternal relations.

He reviewed with Abduljalil regional and Arab developments and issues of joint concern. NTC head expressed deep thanks and appreciation to BahrainKing, Gobierno, and peoplefor their fraternal stances in support of the Libyan people, lauding strong bilateral relations. He also updated HM the King on recent developments in Libya and the NTC efforts to restore security and stability, establish state institutions and achieve the Libyan people’s desired goals.
