The Representatives Council’s Al Assala Bloc’s political bureau today dismissed MP Adel Al Maawda from its membership following the council’s extra-ordinary session scheduled for Thursday, March 24.
Al Assala’s political bureau explained that the bloc requested holding the extra-ordinary session in order to vote for accepting Al Wefaq Bloc’s resignation, but Al Maauda boycotted the session, which led to the cancellation of session altogether.
In this context, the bloc asserted its keenness to be close to the people’s aspirations, affirming that it is not responsible for the statements made by MP Adel Al Maauda in the future.
