Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa also received the visiting Director of the International Peace Institute (IPI) Terje Rod Larsen.
They discussed developments in Bahrain and the kingdom’s efforts to maintain security and stability.
Larsen lauded return of calm to Bahrain which indicates the kingdom’s success in overcoming the crisis. He also hailed the reform process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The latest regional and international developments were also reviewed stressing the need to double efforts to boost regional security and stability.
