Dexia Asset Management will present the ‘Financial and Economic Outlook for 2010’ on Monday as part of its 2010 Middle East Investor Seminar in Bahrain. The seminar will address as well ‘The challenges in Asset Allocation for 2011’.
This annual event will be attended by a large group of government and private financial institutions. The seminar will cover various topics such as the economic environment of the developed countries and the macroeconomic outlook for the USA and Europe. It will address some of the issues that have risen in the current situation such as the upward pressures on currencies, the probability or not of a double dip in the US, whether the US recovery will remain jobless, why the US needs a fall in the dollar, the resilience of European growth despite the debt crisis etc.
The event starts in Bahrain and then takes place in other locations in the Gulf. “We felt it was natural to start our event week in Bahrain, the financial center of the Middle East,” sais Firas Mallah, the Head of the Middle East regional office based in Bahrain.
