The Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority signed an agreement with TÜV-Middle East (Member of TÜV NORD Group) to participate in the 3rd Annual Food and Hospitality Expo 2011. TÜV NORD is a German Inspection, Calibration, Certification & Training Body. It is famous for providing Basic Food Hygiene, Basic Health & Safety for Catering Industry & Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
In addition to that, TUV will bring General Awareness workshops with an objective to raise the Food Industries’ Safety Standards, as well as, preserve consumer confidence in the products of the food industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain by complying with the requirements of International Food Safety Management System Standard.
The Food and Hospitality Expo 2011 which will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from the 8th to 10th of February, 2011 is organized by Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority.
“The Food & Hospitality aiming to create a platform for to launching the latest products, food, hospitality facilities. Since its inauguration in January 2009, this event brought together all the main food producers & distributors, experts of cooling and packaging, manufacturers of kitchen equipment, food and workers in the catering industry, hotels, health and hygiene experts, chefs and owners of manufacturing projects to provide products and/or services of all sorts to the public,” said Hassan J. Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer, BECA.
