Banking is a very complex business and there is a need to have a two-way communication between the staff and the top management as part of efforts to equip future leadership with all essential ingredients, a top official at Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain (KFH-B), said.
“There is nothing better than having our staff spend a day with the CEO so they can share their thoughts and ideas in order to excel in such a challenging work environment,” Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat KFH-B managing director and CEO told the employees during an informal get together.
In an effort to maintain and strengthen communication lines, KFH-B held its monthly initiative whereby 20 randomly selected staff from the bank was given an opportunity, to spend a full day out with the bank’s managing director and CEO.
“This proactive initiative was organised by the human resources department at KFH-B and has already been well received by the staff,” the bank in a statement said.
“The main purpose is to strengthen communication bridges between the CEO and the employees, where they will not only get the chance to talk about various issues regarding the bank in a friendly and relaxing environment, but also have lunch together and spend some time away from the work routine,” it added.
“The key ingredient for any successful organization is its people and these members of the KFH-B family are going to be the leaders who will run KFH-B to a promising future,” said Alkhayyat.
“Banking is a very complex business and there is nothing better than having our staff spend a day with the CEO so they can share their thoughts and ideas in order to excel in such a challenging work environment,” he added.
“The initiative shows KFH-B’s commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment in which the bank’s staff can fulfill their own personal aspirations.”
