The honouring ceremony, which was attended by Chief Executive and Member of the Board, Mohammed Bucheerei, General Manager Support Group, Juma Abull, and other senior members of the Bank’s management team, was hosted in line with Ithmaar’s long-standing commitment to continuously developing its employees.
“Our people are our most important asset,” said Bucheerei. “We recognise that, to continue our success, we must continue to invest in our people and ensure they remain among the very best in the world,” he said.
“In doing so, we are not only investing for the immediate future, we are also preparing our people to take on progressively senior roles within the organisation,” said Bucheeri. “This allows us to help ensure the Bank’s long-term prospects by retaining and continuously developing our brightest employees,” he said.
Bucheerei congratulated the graduates and urged them to play an active role in their own career development. “We will, as a matter of policy, continue to invest in employee development,” said Bucheerei. “To achieve their full potential however, employees must invest tremendous amounts of time and effort on their own self development,” he said.
