“No development without security, no progress without stability and no renaissance without hands to protect achievements and no life for the fearful,” His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said.
He was speaking the graduation of the 3rd Royal Police Academy batch and stressed the hope pinned on the security forces, in partnership with Bahraini people, to protect landmark national achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH urged the graduates to assume their duties on the basis of justice and equality and cooperation to enforce the respect of law, protect freedom and ensure security, pledging full support from the Government.
“The Government has been keen for decades on developing the Interior Ministry through well-studied programmes to ensure security and stability and enhance the standard of its staff.
He paid tribute to the Interior Ministry for its unflinching efforts, ministers and staff, to promote the security system, describing stability as sine qua non to development.
“It is a good omen that this graduation comes amid festivities marking the 11th anniversary of HM the King’s Accession and Bahrain’s 39th National Day”, he said , voicing his optimism as to Bahrain’s bright future.
“We are resolved and prepared more than ever to continue the march for more achievements and construction”, he said, expressing the hope the new year would witness more security and stability for Bahraini people to reap the dividends achieved to date.
Present were Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Customs President, Public Security Chief and RPA Commander.
Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa hailed HRH the Premier’s patronage. “The graduation comes amid festivities marking the 11th anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession and Bahrain’s 39th Bahrain National Day and the 90th anniversary of Bahrain Police”, he said.
The Minister on behalf of Interior Ministry officials and employees, extended congratulations to HM King Hamad, HRH the Premier and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, reiterating allegiance and national belonging.
“The third batch of RPA students have completed their graduation requirements and acquired necessary skills enabling them to join their colleagues and assume their duties in protecting national security and stability, enforcing order and respect of law and safeguard achievements, rights and liberties”, he said.
He described security as the cornerstone of life and its key pillar – hence the keenness of the wise leadership’s keenness to provide all requirements for the security forces and ensures their optimum readiness. RPA Commander addressed the graduation ceremony, stressing Bahrain’s landmark strides despite local, regional and international challenges. “Thanks to the pioneering reform project initiated by His Majesty King Hamad, Bahrain is now ranking among advanced nations”, he said.
He described the Kingdom of Bahrain as a model to emulate for reform, economic construction, national tolerance, political, religious and economic freedoms. He also outlined other landmark strides, particularly human rights, the protection of children’s rights and women’s empowerment programmes.
HRH the Premier honoured top RPA graduates and was greeted by senior Interior Ministry officers and RPA teaching staff.
