BNP Paribas on Wednesday announced the opening of the BNP Paribas Career Centre MEA, under the presence and patronage of Sheikh Abdullah Saud Al-Thani, Governor of the Qatar Central Bank and Hussein Al Mulla, Undersecretary to the Qatar Ministry of Labor.
The event, led by Jean-Christophe Durand, Head of Region for BNP Paribas Middle East and Africa (MEA), welcomed representatives from Qatar’s leading education institutions, non–government organizations (NGOs) and recruitment organizations, which the Bank, will work in partnership with to ensure that the Careers Centre is both sustainable and successful.
Located on the 4th Floor of Al Fardan Towers, Grand Hamad Avenue, the new BNP Paribas Career Centre MEA features a training room, career resource library and computer equipment to support the career aspirations of university students and recent graduates.
Through these facilities, its unique workshops, career development program and online presence, the BNP Paribas Career Centre MEA will offer important advice and services including: the provision of one-to-one career counseling, group workshops, topical seminars, resume preparation and access to the latest job-hunting materials.

We support social responsibility initiatives such as the career centre, and will work in partnership with the bank, and other representatives attending today’s inauguration to make this centre a great success,” said Sheikh Abdullah Saud Al-Thani, Governor of the Qatar Central Bank.
“The inauguration of this centre is part of a journey for our young people, which will enable them to become better equipped to meet the challenges of a competitive market by providing courses and career guidance that will grow with, and support the employment sector. The Career Centre also compliments our national vision for 2030, by providing high quality training opportunities and increased support for Qatari women,” added Hussein Al Mulla, Undersecretary to the Qatar Ministry of Labour.
