His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received GCC foreign Ministers and secretary-general at Al Safriya Palace marking their visit to Bahrain to take part in the 30th extraordinary GCC meeting. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander attended the audience.
The ministers conveyed to HM the King the GCC leaders’ greetings and wishes of health and happiness and Bahrain further progress, security and stability. They hailed HM the King’s key address to the nation, lauding his directives and firm keenness to cement national unity, anchor law sovereignty, promote the state of constitutional institutions and the freedom of opinion. They also stressed the GCC member states’ solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in confronting any danger threatening its security and stability.
“Bahrain’s security and stability is an integral part of the whole GCC security and stability”, they said. HM the King thanked the ministers for convening this extraordinary meeting, describing the initiative as reflecting brotherly relations bonding GCC countries. He also commended the final statement which embodies GCC strong historic relations based on cooperation, coordination and unity in confronting challenges. He hailed the efforts of the GCC ministers towards achieving the GCC leaders’ objectives and aspirations to bolster close and joint cooperation. He also extended greetings to the GCC leaders and his wishes of health and happiness.
