Ithmaar Bank, an Islamic retail and commercial bank, honoured five employees for their outstanding performance, presenting each of them a cash prize and a certificate of appreciation.
The honouring ceremony continues a long-standing tradition of celebrating employee achievements and recognising outstanding performance with an Employee of the Month Award programme.
The employees, Ahlaam Sabooni, Enas Mohammed Rahimi, Khaled A.Rahman Ahmed Bu Kamal, Mohammed Haji and Salman Dawood, received their awards from the Ithmaar Bank Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board, Mohammed Bucheerei, in the presence of Ithmaar Bank Support Group General Manager Juma Abull.
Sabooni, a Corporate Communications Senior Officer, and Rahimi, Human Capital Assistant Manager, received the Employee of the Month Award for September; Bu Kamal, a Retail Banking Officer, received the Award for October; Haji, a Corporate Communications Associate, received the Award for November; and Dawood, a Retail Banking Officer, received the Award for December 2010.
Speaking at the ceremony, which was also attended by senior members of the Ithmaar Bank Management Team, Bucheerei stressed the importance of celebrating outstanding performance.
“This Awards Ceremony, which follows an Honouring Ceremony hosted earlier in January to recognise the academic achievements of our employees, is another opportunity to show our continued support for our people,” said Bucheerei. “At Ithmaar, we have always recognised our people to be our most valuable asset – and we have long maintained that it is the quality of our people that will, ultimately, ensure the Bank’s continued success,” he said.
