Thousands of Bahrainis and residents took to the streets of Manama after Juma’a Prayers in support of the Government and the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The marchers chanted slogans not to allow a group of people to hijack the Kingdom’s political system. “We are actual Bahrainis and this is a face of Bahrain and please don’t portray a wrong picture in the world by showing pictures of protests and unrest,” a protester said.
Over the past five days the Kingdom of Bahrain has been a focal point of the Western media, which many of them believe that the demonstrations was a part ongoing political unrest started from Tunisia, then to Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Libya and now Bahrain.
The political analysts in general and pro-government protesters in specific ejected that theory and warned that the people of Bahrain have had a full faith in the Government and the Leadership. “If the opposition has demands why they can’t discuss it peacefully across the table or perhaps more precisely to use the parliament,” Ahmed Rasool said.
The cars in the rally were decorated with Bahrain’s national flags and people were waving bunting and singing patriotic songs. The demonstrations in Bahrain which started very peacefully ended up in an ugly encounter leaving seven dead and 300 injured in addition to leaving 50 law enforcing agencies officers seriously hurt.
