TRACCS has been named Middle East Consultancy of the Year 2011 by the Holmes Report, one of the world’s most influential reports dedicated to the Public Relations Industry globally. The Report, published annually by the Holmes Group, a leading industry analyst, has included the Middle East category for the first time this year.
According to the Report’s assessment, the volume of business generated makes TRACCS “the only Middle Eastern firm to rank among the world’s top 100 independent” public relations agencies.
“TRACCS refutes the notion that multinational clients requiring strategic public relations services in the Middle East and North Africa need to seek out multinational PR agencies,” the Holmes Report stated in the awards announcement. “With a network of more than 200 professionals in 13 countries across the region, TRACCS is more than capable of providing coverage of all the major markets, and its thought leadership demonstrates a viewpoint on the role and potential of the public relations function as sophisticated as many western firms.”
“TRACCS Bahrain is part of a full-fledged integrated network with strong local operations across the Middle East & North Africa. With this strong foundation, we have been able to build a sustainable local practice and serve our clients’ needs with excellence,” said Ahmed Zainal Director TRACCS Bahrain. “This award underscores our collective strength as a network.”
“We have worked very hard for 13 years to build an indigenous public relations practice across the Middle East and North Africa offering services according to the highest standards and practices. As we have seen with recent events, the region is changing with breathtaking speed and there is an increasing need for skilled local communicators who understand the dialects, cultures and customs of our region and this is what we bring to our profession. The inclusion of a new category for the Middle East by the Holmes Report is encouraging for the development of our industry and a validation of our efforts,” added Mohamed Al Ayed, TRACCS President and CEO.
