His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to the Bahraini citizens for their supportive patriotic stances towards their beloved nation and wise leadership.
“Those stance are reminiscent of the Bahraini people’s unity towards decisive national issues,” HRH Premier told citizens representing all components of the Bahraini society, including clerics, media figures and NGOs, affirming that “Bahrain has always been, and will continue to be, a united country whose citizens are faithful to its social fabric and harmony.”
HRH Premier also affirmed that the National Action Charter (NAC), approved by an unprecedented majority, was the starting point of a decade-long landmark reforms, adding that the National Project, the fruit of the NAC, is still capable of bringing about further change and reform should all parties adhere to calm and wisdom for the sake of attaining more accomplishments for the citizens.
HRH Premier also asserted that the government is cable of bringing about reform and meeting the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who, he indicated, is the most committed to the reform march as the best means to meet the citizens’ expectations.
“The hand which has built the nation and has always been extended to all Bahraini people will remain faithful to them and will never disappoint them,” HRH Premier said, re-affirming that the citizens are the real asset of the nation and the government will carry on providing them with the requirements of decent living, including security and stability and housing, health, social and educational needs.
HRH Premier also noted that the kingdom is a one-family nation whose citizens are united, and reiterated his strong resolve to preserve that unity, stressing the need to safeguard the kingdom’s reform accomplishments and use the atmospheres of freedom and openness prevailing in it as tools of unity, not dissention.
In this context, HRH Premier paid tribute to clerics for calling for calm and dialogue in the kingdom.
HRH Prince Khalifa also praised the solidarity voiced by the GCC countries, especially Saudi Arabia, asserting that the kingdom will emerge from the current critical situation stronger and more united.
