Dr. Al Nuaimi also praised the crucial role played by teachers in restoring normality at schools, reiterating the ministry’s strong resolve to ensure that students of all educational levels return to schools as soon as a secure environment is created.
He also stressed that the distinctive feature of Bahraini schools as havens of national cohesion should be restored through some programmes and activities in order to avert the odd phenomena that prevailed recently and fueled clashes among students.
He also asserted that the ministry is studying many options for the sake of replacing the lost lessons because of schools’ closure and make the best use of the King Hamad Schools of the Future Project’s electronic network.
In a related context, Dr. Al Nuaimi pledged that the ministry will not tolerate any attempt aiming to destabilise schools or sow dissension within the school community, indicating that he has instructed schools and directorates to implement the Code of school Discipline and the Civil Service Bureau’s law strictly.
He also called upon parents to cooperate with the ministry in order to ensure the stability of schools.
It is worth noting that today’s attendance of the 40,000 students in the Kingdom’s 59 intermediate schools was encouraging as about 95% of teachers resumed work.
