The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), which is spearheading the security operation in the Kingdom, has announced a partial martial law from 4pm to 4am on Wednesday evening.
A curfew is imposed starting Wednesday 16 March 2011, and until further notice, between 4 pm and 4 am in the area extending from the Seef Flyover until the traffic lights before the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge, including 400 metres on either side of the highway. The residents of this area should coordinate with the checkpoints to facilitate officially their movement. Gatherings, rallies, demonstrations and sit-ins are not allowed anywhere in the Kingdom of Bahrain until the situation is back to normal.
All citizens and residents must cooperate fully with the checkpoints for the sake of their safety. Anyone who violates these measures will face the appropriate legal action.
Police forces arrived at the GCC Roundabout leading to the withdrawal of the rioters.
A report documented by Bahrain Television was broadcasted today showing videos of criminal acts in which pictures can’t lie and monitors real evidence for what was happening of random and barbaric attacks including the recent attack on some expats in Bahrain.
The report shows how a number of Asian and Arab communities who were enjoying peace and security in the Kingdom of Bahrain were terrorized by using different terrifying and torturing means such as using swords and bladed weapons. A Bangladeshi worker died and seventeen Asians wounded with injuries varied between medium and critical.
The Bahrain Television concluded the report by affirming that the whole world is witnessing these crimes which were committed by thugs against humanity.
The report also shows the constant efforts by the Kingdom of Bahrain to implement international laws in protecting foreign manpower on its lands and which was an honorary Arab example at the field of International labor organizations.
