The Kingdom is capable of emerging from the current situation as an oasis of security, safety and co-existence for all its citizens owing to the wisdom of its leadership and cohesion of its people, according to the Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan.
“Amid the on-going conditions, we are required to enhance our coordination and be more united and resolved in order to attain the ministry’s main goals of achieving social security and stability and providing decent job opportunities for the citizens in order to engage them in the nation-building and development marches and ensure the stability of the labour market,” he told the Labour Ministry’s officials and employees during a meeting on Monday.
He also asserted that the Labour Ministry, like all other government departments, will implement all the Civil Service Bureau’s instructions concerning attendance and premium system, stressing that everyone should assume their responsibilities for the sake of sustaining the kingdom’s progress and ensuring it a brighter future.
Humaidan also praised the ministry’s affiliates’ perseverance, adherence to the to the code of work ethics and commitment to work timings and performance during the critical period the kingdom has witnessed, expressing delight that work has finally come back to normal.
He also called for the need to adhere to national unity and cohesion and confront any attempts aiming to fuel sectarian feuds which, he said, are alien to the values of the Bahraini society whose members are equal.
Finally, the Minister told those present that re-asserting trust in the Bahrain workers’ dedication and devotion to work in order to upgrade their employability, supporting companies and promoting mutual trust and partnership between workers and their establishments are top priorities for the time being, calling them to be work harder and speed up the work pace in order to help the kingdom overcome the exceptional circumstances as soon as possible.
