The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) where he met the Captains and officers of the Kuwaiti Naval Forces’ vessels, currently taking part in the Joint Peninsula Shield troops deployed in the kingdom.
Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the Kuwaiti naval forces, expressing appreciation for their noble participation testifying to the solid historical relations bonding the two brotherly countries.
He also lauded the supportive stances voiced by the GCC states towards the kingdom in light of the recent regretful incidents that jeopardized its stability and disrupted the security of its citizens and residents.
BDF Commander-in-Chief also met the RBNF Commander and officers and was informed on RBNF’s preparedness to protect the Kingdom’s territorial waters, as required by the State of National Safety.
He also asserted that RBNF’s high-level performance and capabilities reflect the far-sightedness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, and directives to ensure that RBNF affiliates are provided with the latest technology and specialized expertise so as to be able to defend the country’s territorial waters with remarkable competence.
Shaikh Khalifa praised RBNF’s affiliates and described them as the guardians of the Kingdom’s territorial Waters’ safety and security, extending his sincere thanks to the citizens, residents and sailors for continuous cooperation with RBNF’s personnel.
