All detainees arrested recently have been allowed to contact their families, the BDF military prosecutor has said.
Legal procedures are being taken as per royal decree 18 for 2011 regarding the declaration of the State of National Safety, it was revealed.
In direct contravention of the State of National Safety, announced on the 15th March, the Ministry of Interior can confirm that there were some protests and marches in several places in Bahrain today.
As a result in order to enforce the law, police forces were instructed to deal appropriately with all such gatherings to maintain safety, stability and security in Bahrain.
In Maameer, Bahrain, a gathering started to attack police officers, resulting in the police using tear gas to disperse the group.
Later on, the emergency services operation centre in Bahrain received a call for an Ambulance for Isa Mohammed Ali, a 71 year old from Maameer, who died on Friday.
Following an examination by a forensic doctor, no evidence was found that the cause of death was anything to do with suffocation from tear gas. A further autopsy to establish cause of death was offered to his family, but was refused.
