His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received at Al Safriya Palace the Jordanian Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Al Jouda and his accompanying delegation who conveyed to HM greetings and best wishes from the Jordanian Monarch King Abdulla II.
During the meeting, HM King Hamad took pride in the solid ties bonding the two brotherly countries in all fields.
“The national dialogue initiative aims to protect the great Bahraini people’s political, economic and social accomplishments and launch other political and developmental reforms,” HM the King said, calling all parties to start the dialogue as soon as possible with good and loyal intentions in order to reach the desired national consensus.
HM King Hamad expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to brotherly Jordan for its firm supportive stances towards the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailing King Abdulla II’s keenness to foster bilateral cooperation at all levels.
HM King Hamad also requested the Jordanian envoy to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to King Abdulla II, expressing hope that bilateral relations will be consolidate further.
For his part, the Jordanian Foreign Minister reiterated Jordan’s solidarity with Bahrain against any dangers posing a threat to its security and stability and rejection of any attempts to intervene in the kingdom’s internal affairs.
The visiting minister also voiced Jordan’s support for starting the multi-party dialogue immediately and without pre-conditions, hoping that Bahrain will overcome the current situation successfully in order to be able to bring about more landmark achievements and secure the Bahrain people a brighter future.
He also paid tribute to HM King Hamad for his constant keenness to enhance Bahraini-Jordanian cooperation for the joint interests of their brotherly peoples, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
