His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has accentuated the importance of security and stability in this phase of Bahrain’s history.
“Democracy is protected and constitutional establishments are going ahead with the democratic march. However, in this phase of the kingdom ‘s history, we need to further boost national security and stability for everybody now has to mend the rift caused by the recent incidents Bahrain has witnessed,” he said as he received at his court today an elite of writers, journalists and media persons.
“Bahrain will remain steadfast and immune from any harm as long as Bahrainis have this sense of patriotism,” he added stressing that thanks to the wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the determination of the government and the will of the people, Bahrain will resist and emerge stronger and more resolute. “It’s high time all components of the Bahraini society played a proactive role to transcend wounds and keep the development march on,” he said.
“Bahrain’s strong social texture and unified will are assuring about the future of the nation and the ability of the Bahraini people, through cohesion with the leadership, to overcome any crisis or difficulty,” he stressed.
“Our peaceful Bahraini society rejects all forms of violence and sectarianism and our national unity, which has constituted throughout history an invulnerable national bulwark has to be protected irrespective of any circumstances,” HRH the Prime Minister affirmed adding that Bahrain will remain the state of law, citizenship and equality. He also underlined rejection of any internal divide.
“Loyalty to the nation must come first and last and we have to draw a lesson from what has happened to immunize future generations from the danger of dissension and strengthen their sense of belonging,” he said.
“We want to get out of the dimness which has darkened the sky of Bahrain. We do not want to jump backwards. We would like, however, to move upwards to a broader horizon to continue the building process for the sake of people’s welfare, security and stability,” he asserted.
HRH the Prime Minister urged to further promote the culture of tolerance in the society to prevent false images, which all people reject, from being magnified.
“Achieving growth and prosperity, which we yearn for, is our responsibility and through unity we will be able to thwart any attempt to undermine national cohesion,” he said stressing the need to confront all phenomena alien to the Bahraini society.
“Anyone who thought he would succeed to sow seeds of skepticism and hatred among the elderly and youngsters has failed. All citizens are dear to us and we are working for them even those who have been misled,” he added.
“It is regrettable that the uncovered conspiracy has been carried out by some Bahraini nationals who created a state of fear and panic among the innocents,” HRH the Prime Minister explained pledging to take all crucial decisions to restore confidence among citizens.
“Bahrain is fine and things are getting back to normal. Nevertheless, we should not forget the bitter experience we have undergone,” he said vowing to bring the wrongdoers to justice.
“There has been no reason to drive the country to such an extreme,” he added praying God Almighty to heal the wound of Bahrain.
“We all have the honour to serve HM the King and carry out his directives. We all serve one end, something we have inherited and we will remain faithful to this principle,” he affirmed adding that anyone who tries to cast doubt on unity between the leadership and people will fail for any malicious attempt to divide the national rank will be foiled.
“The march of openness and construction will continue. What we are doing is a national responsibility despite numerous challenges and difficulties. Nothing will discourage us from continuing the building process. Bahrain may be small in size but big with its people,” he said.
“We are capable to remove all obstacles. We still make up one-family society and we will never accept divide. We have to learn the lesson and review our calculations so that the climate of openness and democracy will not be misused,” he added.
“Restoring confidence in Bahrain’s economy is a milestone in this phase,” he asserted urging all to contribute to the building of the nation.
“Bahrain is in the right direction thanks to the leadership of HM King Hamad and will always remain an oasis of security, stability and construction,” HRH the Prime Minister said underlining the need to boost self-auditing in public establishments to further enhance the role of the National Financial and Administrative Audit Court.
He also praised the role of journalists, mass media and columnists in defending national achievements and fostering patriotism.
He underscored the need for the private sector to continue its productive role pledging to extend more support to it. He also thanked the Bahraini people for defending their nation and its achievements.
Information Affairs Authority (IAA) President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed honour in meeting HRH the Premier describing his praise of the performance of journalists and media persons as an incentive to exert more efforts. He also expressed gratitude to HRH the Premier for his tremendous support.
He stressed that BNA staff who dedicated themselves to the service of the leadership and the nation round the clock are the unknown soldiers of the kingdom who strenuously and devotedly worked for the benefit of the nation.
