The Secretary General of the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Center and the Gulf European Center for Human Rights, Faisal Folath, said that both Centers have achieved their responsibilities towards human rights and humanitarian foundations, as based on organizational objectives, as of February 14th and the subsequent events that took place in Bahrain.
Both Human Rights Centers took to monitoring and control of the violation against Bahraini citizens, residents and expats in all objectivity, transparency and neutrality to help achieve the joint agreements for regional security, between the GCC countries.
Folath added that the unfortunate events had been preemptively planned to affect the life of the public in Bahrain, and infringe on human rights, through conduct that is illegal and out of the law. The infringing parties have acted upon the objective of impeding the livelihood of Bahrain, having taken control of the financial district in Manama, the central city of Bahrain, as well as hijacking the Salmaniya Medical Complex, in addition to the destruction of public property and attack on the University of Bahrain.
Furthermore, school children were coerced by both teachers and school principals, who were driving and seeding hatred, violence, and sectarianism, to drop education and join violent riots. All such criminalities have created fear within the community, which gives into the precise objective of the ‘wrong-doers’, who have stolen the basic human right of Bahraini citizens, to have security and freedom of movement. This has persuaded the Ministry of Interior to take the necessary actions in order to counter the violations, as per International standards of the United Nations, in placing officers to confront the security threat, and implement the law, as legislated by the constitution to maintain national security.
The Head of Communication for the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Center, Salman Nasser, further added that the Center and the Gulf European Centre for Human Rights, have continued the monitoring, following up, and official registration of all cases and complaints that came in through the emergency hotline, and dedicated email throughout this period, placed specifically to support the victims of the February 14th illegal movements.
For this very reason, delegates of both Human Rights Centers, together with nationals and citizens who have been subjected to the assault of offenders, being physically and emotionally violated, have stood together. They take a stance to represent, to speak for, and defend the families, university students, and all victims of the extreme human rights violations that took place in recent event.
This is inclusive of the parents, whose children have been physically and emotionally wounded through the fueling of racism and sectarianism by teachers; as well as the doctors who had been subject to life threats and abuse during the period, where the hospital was hijacked by gangsters with the support of other doctors and nurses, who had forsaken their duty and oath to the practice of medicine, and took to following the sectarian and racist movements.
The Human Rights Centers have also registered an online petition which condemns the actions of the gangsters, who have been trained by terrorist groups, and direct their allegiance and loyalty to the Iranian Shiite Republic Ideology. The petition further details the gangsters’ and terrorists’ true objectives, for the impediment of progressive and modern living in Bahrain, to suppress all basic and human rights of nationals, and take advantage of the young by pushing them into the line of fire which they had initially instigated.
The list of atrocities and outrageous human rights and children’s rights violations have been acknowledged through the petition, which has thus far been signed by over 5,000 individuals (both Bahraini and non-Bahraini Citizens of the Kingdom), and addressed to the Secretary General of the United Nations.
As for the violations against the expatriate workers in Bahrain, the Head of the Gulf European Human Rights Organization, Natalia Schloveki has stated that the Organization, along with the department of labor rights, has registered cases and complaints from Asian nationals who had been forced out of their homes, attacked and harassed. The cases include two Asians murdered, a disfigurement of another who is currently under medical care, by cutting his tongue and almost shattering his skull, among others.
For such reasons, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights Watch, and the Gulf European Centre for Human Rights have brought forth their reports, including all and each case with its definitive proof of the extreme human rights violations that took place.
This report, with registered proofs collected through the efforts of delegates who together represent the Bahrain Community and Nation, has been presented to the United Nations on Monday March 28. 2011, and handed directly over to Agha, the acting representative for the United Nations Development Program in Bahrain; whereby Faisal Folath is currently abroad, to follow the petition through.
The joined delegates and representatives of the community shall partake in further visits to international organizations in order to direct their message towards revealing the facts of the February 14th movement. The delegates shall voice the stance taken by the Bahraini community in absolutely refusing the unfortunate violations against Bahrain, and condemning the groups who have instigated and are in support of this illegal and inhumane campaign against the Bahrain Government, its leaders, and its people.
The delegates will further express the people’s full support of the Bahrain Government, Leadership, and HRH Crown Prince of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in taking initiative to starting national dialogue, to elevate the integrity of the state and nation- through national unity, honesty and hard work-, to renounce sectarianism in Bahrain, to promote reform in all sectors and pillars of the nation, and to verify the constitution, as approved by the people of Bahrain, during the 2001 constitutional reform elections.
