Jordan has stressed its support for Bahrain’s security and stability and all that protects its unity, the cohesion of its people, as well as its national achievements.
King Abdulla II expressed his country’s solidarity as he received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, who conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and his wishes of progress and prosperity to Jordan and its people.
King Abdulla hailed the deep relations bonding Bahrain and Jordan, stressing of boosting bilateral cooperation in all fields.
HRH Prince Salman updated King Abdulla on steps taken in Bahrain to preserve national security and stability and protect citizens and expatriates’ lives, pointing out that Bahrain was going back to the normal course of life. He added that he was looking forward to all parties to maintain calmness, build the bridges of mutual confidence for Bahrain to continue the march of reform and modernization.
The two leaders discussed regional and Arab developments amid changes in the region. HRH Prince Salman earlier arrived in Amman on a two-day visit to Jordan and was welcomed by Prince Faisal ibn Al Hussain and other senior officials.
