The Management Committee meeting for the Development and Production Sharing Agreement (DPSA) was held on Thursday, at Tatweer Petroleum Company main office.
Dr Abdul-Husain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Energy and Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority chaired the second meeting in 2011 of the DPSA Committee with representatives from Occidental, Mubadala and Nogaholding companies as members of the committee.
The meeting reviewed progress of the operation and company’s future plans. The management advised the meeting that the rental compression project is on track to start-up before the end of first quarter and that the drilling of new development wells is on track.
Dr Mirza has expressed his delight for the progress that was made during 2010 and the achievements Tatweer has made so far during the first quarter of this year.
Dr Mirza expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the wise political leadership of the Kingdom; HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince for their continued support to the Petroleum industry in the Kingdom.
Excellency, also, conveyed his thanks and appreciation to the Executive Management and all employees of Tatweer Petroleum for their support and dedication to ensure that essential operations relating to production of oil and gas are continuing without interruption despite current circumstances.
