Standard Chartered Bahrain reported business as usual during the week for the bank with all operations remains unaffected across the Kingdom.
“Our business continues to operate as usual in Bahrain to provide our customers with quality banking services. Five branches opened Thursday and on Sunday we will be opening all seven branches,” the bank in a statement said.
“Direct banking channels, including our Internet banking and call centre are also operating normally. All ATMs are stocked and fully functional,” it added.
“The banking system remains very liquid with inter-banks rates at normal level. As the first bank in Bahrain, we remain confident, strong, and committed to be here for our staff and customers,” the spokesperson said.
“We have robust contingency plans that are reviewed and tested regularly. We are confident that we are able to cater to our customer’s banking needs. Staff safety remains our priority. All our staff is safe, and we are maintaining a close eye on the situation.”
