The Representatives Council’s Legislative and Legal Committee on Sunday will hold its weekly meeting and discuss the Decree-Law 47 regarding running and specialty of Pension Fund, for officers and members of Bahrain Defence Force and Public Security for Bahrainis and non-Bahrainis, established under Decree-Law No. (6) for 1991, according to the BNA.
The committee will also discuss Decree-Law 51/2010 on amending some articles of law 1975 on passports and decree-law 39/2010 opening an additional credit in the State budget for fiscal year 2010 as well as borrowing to cover this appropriation; Decree-law 52/2010 on amending some articles of Decree Law (15) of 1977 issuing development bonds; Decree-Law 38 /2010 ratifying the agreement of authorization, renting, services, warranty and the grant contract between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Bank for Development regarding the development of 66 KV network of power transmission; Decree-Law (37) for 2010, to ratify the agreements of authorization, renting, services, warranty and the grant contract between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Bank for Development regarding the development of the networks of power transmission of dual voltages 220 and 66; Decree-Law 55/2011’s accompanying draft law on avoidance of double taxation and preventing fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income signed between Bahrain and Malta; Decree-Law 41/2010’s accompanying draft law on the organisation of engineering professions; Decree-Law 10/2010’s draft law on the loan agreements signed between the government of Bahrain and the Saudi Development Fund; Decree-Law No. (49) for 2010 amending some rules of Law of National Audit Court issued under Decree by Law No. (16) for 2002; Decree-Law No. (34) for 2010 amending some rules of Law No. (60) for 2006 regarding reorganization of the Department of Legal Affairs; Decree-Law 87/2008’s accompanying draft law amending some articles of Decree-Law 14/1971 on archiving and Decree-Law 15/2009’s draft law ratifying the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purpose of Patent Procedure.
The committee will also discuss the Shura Council’s decision regarding Decree-Law 86/2008’s accompanying draft law on disputes resolution.
