Out of 400, a total of 111 Ministry of Education employees, including both administrative and educational staff, have been suspended from work and are likely facing dismissal according to the Civil Service Law.
Ongoing investigations have shown their clear implication in the recent events which erupted at schools, jeopardized students’ safety and created a sectarian rift.
The Education Ministry has addressed the Civil Service Bureau to take the necessary measures in this regard, a statement by the Public Relations and Media Directorate has revealed.
