Bahrain-based Al Baraka Islamic Bank (ABIB) has signed an agreement with Carrefour Bahrain to accept Taqseet Cards at their store in City Centre Bahrain.
“It is our pleasure to have such a famous and successful business name such Carrefour participating in the Taqseet Card program and we are committed to providing our new partner with the highest level of cooperation to achieve successful and smooth card operations at their stores,” said Mohamed Al Mutweh, the CEO and board member of the bank.
“We launched Taqseet Card programme recently in the local market and it is considered to be an innovative Islamic finance card allows customers to get multiple finance amounts to purchase different items with flexible monthly repayments based on the customer’s choice. Also cardholders can pay the monthly installments for their purchases at Carrefour, in addition to the bank branches for their convenience. In this regards, it is worth mentioning that Taqseet Cards are issued without any fees and with low profit rates.
“We think our participation in Taqseet Card program will reflect positively on the level of services provided to our customers,” General Manager of Carrefour Bahrain, Joe Younes said.
He added also that customers who are seeking finance for their purchases would receive full support from the bank representatives and Carrefour staff who are available during the store working hours to assist them in line with Carrefour values in supporting the progress and development of the new technologies and facilities to serve the needs of our customers.
