The Kingdom of Bahrain will be represented by the eGovernment Authority at the 4th Government eServices Exhibition (COMEX 2011) to be held in the Sultanate of Oman from the 25th to the 29th April 2011. The exhibition aims at showcasing Bahrain’s eProjects and initiatives as well as highlighting the key services offered by the Government entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the means of information and communication Technologies.
Beside displaying the eServices offered by the government, the exhibition will provide a dynamic platform for government entities to meet under the umbrella of Oman’s digital initiative to exchange expertise in the ICT field, in addition to reinforce the cooperation and integration between various government entities as well as to encourage the development of their eServices.
“This is our first ever participation in COMEX 2011 in the Sultanate of Oman and it will be a unique opportunity for us to share knowledge and exchange the experience in the eGovernment arena among GCC countries and look into innovative ideas related to linking our prospective initiatives that will facilitate services for all GCC citizens,” said Mohammad Ziad Asfour, Assistant Director, Marketing and Awareness Directorate at the eGovernment Authority.
COMEX 2011 is marked with the participation of a number of Omani Government entities in addition to other GCC enterprises and leading ICT international organizations that will take part in the exhibition. Nevertheless, the event will expose Omani digital projects as well as other projects and initiatives that support digital Oman.
The Kingdom of Bahrain pavilion at COMEX 2011 will demonstrate the latest and cutting-edge ICT products that will provide integrated eGovernment services introducing the advanced level of services offered to citizens, residents, businesses and visitors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The COMEX 2011 is one of the largest annual ICT events in the region. It has contributed to provide and facilitate numerous ICT solutions to stakeholders under the globally wider ICT solution gateway.
