His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has urged traders and businessmen to assume their responsibilities and play a pivotal role in revitalizing investments.
He made the earnest call as he received at Al-Raoudha Palace Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Dr. Essam Fakhro, BCCI board members, leading traders and businessmen, in addition to citizens.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, attended.
The meeting was part of HM the King’s keenness to reach out to all vital components of the society.
His Majesty King Hamad voiced his confidence in the ability of Bahrain’s national economy to re-emerge stronger and fare better than before the recent incidents, pinning hopes on all Bahrainis’ unity, allegiance and alignment under the national banner.
HM King Hamad called upon traders and businessmen to coordinate with the Government to create favourable conditions for the national economy to develop.
He commended the instrumental role of the Government in meeting the comprehensive national objectives. He also paid tribute to all Bahrainis, men and women, lauding their crucial role and dedication to serving their nation. “You make up a closely-knit family, in all circumstances”, he said, wishing them success for the sake of Bahrain and its people.

He affirmed his full support for the vital sector to continue its march, optimizing achievements and consolidating the pioneering role of the national economy.
“Bahrain’s economy has earned the confidence of the regional and global economic powerhouses, wooing investments, financial and trade institutions”, he said. HM King Hamad portrayed a positive and promising economic outlook. “The trade activity is solid and the national economy is built on strong bases”, he said.
He lauded the efforts of the trade and economic sectors to promote the development march. He acknowledged the instrumental role of the chamber, all along its history, in spearheading national economic development.
