His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, asserted that progress, perseverance and keenness to ensure a better future for the Kingdom are among the goals set by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, adding that Bahrain’s future is in the hands of its youth.
“Giving the Bahraini youngsters the chance to get the best education in order to learn about the latest technological, intellectual and scientific innovations is the best means to raise a generation of tolerant Bahrainis who accept differences and be loyal to HM King Hamad, the sole guarantor of national unity, territorial sovereignty and Bahraini social cohesion,” he also said, noting that, Bahrain, with its people’s awareness, adherence to their national unity and support for their King, will emerge stronger, more ambitious and prosperous than it used to be before the crisis.
This came as HRH Crown Prince attended on Friday, at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in London, the graduation ceremony of his son Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman watched a military parade carried out by the graduates who were later presented with awards.
HRH Crown Prince congratulated his son for his outstanding achievement, wishing him further success in serving HM King Hamad and the Kingdom.
He also lauded RMAS’ advanced academic and training programmes aiming to prepare well-qualified military cadres.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, marking his son Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa’s graduation from the London-based Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Following the graduation, HRH Crown Prince was congratulated by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and the Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, wishing Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman every success.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman was awarded the Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Prize for Academic Excellence and the Communication and Applied Behavioural Science Prize.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ruling Family members and guests were also present at the graduation ceremony.
The first Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Youth and President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) today extended his sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, marking his son Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa’s graduation from the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Shaikh Khalid also congratulated Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman on his outstanding achievement, wishing him every success in serving the kingdom and its people under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Crown Prince.
