The Central Bank of Bahrain on Monday assured full support to the insurance sector as part of the CBB’s ongoing efforts by working closely with all stakeholders for maintaining the sustainable growth patterns.
This was disclosed during a meeting chaired by Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the CBB with the CEOs of insurance companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting discussed recent developments and ways of cooperation to address the negative effects which may hinder the working progress for the insurance companies.
The discussion also touched on a number of issues related to the insurance industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and focused on the importance of the continued growth of the sector and meeting the needs of customers; both individuals and institutions for the future.
The Governor emphasized the CBBs readiness to cooperate with the insurance companies and facilitate the necessary environment for business development for the insurance industry, emphasizing the overwhelming success achieved by this sector in recent years, which contributed largely to the development of the financial sector in the Kingdom Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by senior CBB officials including Dr. Michael Taylor, Abdul Rahman Al Baker, Shaikh Salman Al Khalifa, Dr. Huda Al Maskati and Nader Al Mandeel.
