Bahrain is happy, taking pride in its brave military for assuming its patriotic role fully. His Majesty king Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, has paid tribute to the armed forces for maintaining security and order, ensuring citizens and residents’ security and serenity and protecting their rights and properties.
He extended his thanks and appreciation as he visited the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command, in the company of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.
They were welcomed on arrival by BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa and BDF Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al-Khalifa. He met senior BDF officers and followed up the implementation of the State of National Safety, getting assured on gradual normalization of the security situation in Bahrain.
He lauded the strong coordination and cooperation between the BDF, the Public Security and the National Guard, hailing their joint efforts in assuming their noble mission with great competence, high-morale and sincere resolve.
He also praised their dedication and patriotic role in serving the nation, protecting national, development and democratic achievements. He singalled out particularly the crucial role of the BDF in assumed its sacred role in defending the country, hailing its readiness to deter any potential danger jeopardizing the nation. HM King Hamad prayed Allah Almighty for security to prevail countrywide.
For the bleak days of provocative and terror acts, which are alien to genuine values, not haunt the closely-knit and loving Bahraini society. “Bahrain and its people deserve a lot from us in terms of bright hopes and decent living”, he said, extending his greetings and appreciations to all officers and non-commissioned officers, wishing them success in assuming their patriotic duties.
