His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa issued directives to pay compensation to the martyrs of the duty as well as the injured. BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa announced the Royal lifeline. The package will benefit the affiliates of the BDF, Interior Ministry, the National Guard and the National Security Agency, who got killed or injured defending Bahrain’s security and stability.
Each martyr’s family will be granted a housing unity, while his children will study free of charge, until they graduate from the university.
Each martyr’s heirs will also be paid a lump sum, yet to be decided by the specialized committee.

All the martyrs will also be promoted to a higher military rank and obtain backdated salaries for a whole year. The specialized committee will have also to decide whether to grant the military a maximum two-year salaries, , in case of martyrdom or disappearance during military operations, or the equivalent of six or twelve salaries plus allowances, in case of death during / due to work.
Under Royal directives, the military will also be granted compensation and allowances in case of natural death. These include the end of service bonus, on the basis of 3% of the annual salary for each pension year, for a maximum 32 years. The package will also include a death allowance equaling six salaries as well as, funeral costs equaling salaries, in addition to a pension salary equaling 80%, taking into account the last salary and social allowance after the promotion.
