A comprehensive national health scheme detailing the Kingdom’s future needs for hospitals and health establishments has been urged today by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa during a work meeting he chaired at his Riffa Palace in the presence of the Deputy Premiers, ministers and officials.
The plan aims to alleviate pressure on existing medical institutions and cater for the perpetual population growth in the kingdom, it was revealed.
The meeting spotlighted major projects included in the government’s roadmap for the next four years (2011-2014). HRH the Prime Minister instructed concerned parties to coordinate with the legislative power to speed up approval of the public budget to further enhance the economic momentum.
HRH the Premier also got assured about the financial sector in Bahrain and urged more banking flexibility to further invigorate the national economy and support small and medium companies.
He also instructed ministers and government employees to ensure commitment to labour laws and regulations and promote the culture of brotherhood, unity and collaboration at the work place in order to maximize national achievements and avoid repeat of previous mistakes.
HRH the Premier directed to plan summer activities and recreational programmes to activate tourism and back the national economy pointing out the need for tourism establishments to take part in the organization of such programmes.
