His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has reiterated his keenness to follow up personally and through field visits the work progress of government projects.
“Field visits allow us to make a more comprehensive vision and assess development and improvement needs more realistically,” HRH Premier said as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace, a number of senior officials, in the presence of the Head of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa and the Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh.
During the meeting, HRH Premier pointed out that information technology should be used for serving national interests, calling for the need to upgrade the media messages conveyed by the widespread satellite channels and make them tools of unity, not dissension.
HRH Premier also stressed the need to join ranks in order to safeguard the blessings of security and stability, warning of the negative repercussions of disrupting them.
“Those who want to destabilize countries and peoples must not be given any chances to succeed,” he added.
