Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry strongly denounced using social networking systems to defame people or target them, describing those acts as “irresponsible”.
“Targeting people in such a way is not acceptable, in terms of law and religion,” the Ministry said, adding that generalising and accusing people of treason and lies without proof will cause to the Bahraini society.
In this respect, the Ministry asserted that only legal and constitutional channels are allowed to probe the violations made by any person, in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic Sharia and the directives of the wise leadership, led by His Majesty king Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa..
The Ministry also lauded its staff’s commitment and adherence to the professional ethics during the regretful incidents that took place in the Kingdom, adding that it has set up specialized probe committees which will, in cooperation with the Civil Service Bureau, take the necessary actions against all violators.
