Preserving national unity and achieving welfare for the Bahraini people is our prime concern, according to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander paying tribute to the royal reform project in bringing about continuous growth and prosperity.
He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today US Central Command Commander James N. Mattis.
He hailed the US support for Bahrain’s security and stability which epitomizes strong ties bonding the two friendly countries. He also stressed the kingdom’s keenness to further promote bilateral relations and cooperation mainly in the military and defence field.
HRH the Crown Prince discussed the security and economic situation in Bahrain and ways of promoting them.
Both sides also reviewed regional developments and the need to safeguard regional security and stability.
The US officials expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Crown Prince praising the kingdom’s ongoing development march for the past ten years as well as Bahrain’s pioneering regional and international role.
Present during the meeting were Chief of Staff Major General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Office Director Brigadier Mounir Ahmed Al Sbei’i and US Deputy Chief of Mission Stephanie Williams.
