Saudi Arabia on Monday reaffirmed its unwavering support for Bahrain’s security and stability.
“The security of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia is indivisible – being two bodies in the same soul”, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud said.
He voiced the strong stance as he received His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
He described the Saudi support for Bahrain stemming from strong historic relations whose foundations had been laid by forefathers, with their descendants following in the footsteps.
He also reiterated the strong keenness on Bahrain’s independence and sovereignty, rejecting any foreign blatant interference in its internal affairs, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The two leaders discussed strong historic brotherly relations and ways of bolstering cooperation, in addition to regional developments.
HRH the Premier conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, wishing him health and happiness.
He congratulated the Saudi monarch on his recovery following his medical treatment trip, wishing him health and happiness.
HRH the Premier voiced Bahrain’s deep thanks and appreciation for Saudi Arabia for its unwavering support in all fields, thus reflecting special bilateral relations. He also paid tribute to Saudi Arabia for its unflinching support for Bahrain’s security and stability.
“These honourable stances will be carved forever in the national memory and every citizen’s heart”, he said, hailing the pivotal Saudi role and support for Bahrain during the regrettable incidents. He lauded the developments strides in Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud
HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa also held talks with Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Defence and Aviation Minister and Inspector General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
He highlighted the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia in consolidating security and stability in the region.
He hailed Saudi honourable stances in support of Bahrain to remain forever an oasis of security and stability.
“We are used to such strong stances from Saudi Arabia in hard times”, he said. The two leaders discussed regional developments.
HRH the Premier assured Prince Sultan on Bahrain’s stability and return to normal life in the aftermath of the recent deplorable incidents. Prince Sultan reiterated his country’s strong stance in support of Bahrain as it confronts attempts to subvert its internal security and stability.
“Bahrain’s security is also that of Saudi Arabia. Any aggression on Bahrain is also an assault on Saudi Arabia”, he said.
Prince Sultan stressed that Bahrain does not stand alone in confronting terror designs seeking to subvert its security and stability, pointing out united GCC stances in staving off threats firmly.
HRH Prime Minister Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa left Saudi Arabia following a short visit during which he met Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Defence and Aviation Minister and Inspector General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. He was seen off by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Al-Faisal.
