Al Dur Power Plant enhances Bahrain capacity of power supplies: Minister

Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza has asserted that Al Dur Power and Water station will enhance the services delivered for the consumers through providing them with quality electric energy round-the -clock, supplying other economic and infrastructure projects with their energy needs, boosting national economy and creating job opportunities for university graduates.

Dr. Mirza received a delegation from Al Dur Power and Water Company led by its Board Vice-Chairman and CEO.

During the meeting, Dr. Mirza appreciated the efforts made by the company’s officials to finalise the project in due time, adding that the facility will meet the growing demand for energy in the kingdom.

Vice-Chairman of the company lauded the fruitful meeting with Dr. Mirza, expressing keenness to foster cooperation with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).
