The Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs issued resolution No. 19 for the year of 2011 on appointing the dates for the bye elections of the House of Representatives constituencies concerned.
According to article I Voters whom names are recorded on the voters’ applications of the provisions of decree by Law No. 14 for the year of 2002 on exercising political rights of constituencies specified in article II of this decision are invited to the polling stations for electing members of the House of Representatives from these constituencies on Saturday, 24/09/2011 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, in cases that require re-election are returned on Saturday, 01/10/2011 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm).
Elections of those constituencies are held at Bahraini embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions abroad on Tuesday 20/09/2011, in cases requiring the return of re-election to be held on Tuesday, 27/09/2011.
The article III of the resolution issued on for nominations and elections of members in the House of Representative for the electoral districts are set to begin on Monday, 22/08/2011 to Wednesday, 24/08/2011 in which applications are offered at those districts conducted by elections to the competent committees.
In accordance with article II, elections of constituencies are as follows: Capital Governorate: Circuit numbers (2), (3), (4), (5), (7) and (8); 2- Muharraq Governorate: Circle number (6); Northern Province: Circuit numbers (1), (2), (3), (5), (7), (8) and (9) and 4- Central Province: Circuit numbers (1), (2), (5) and (6). It is worth noting that the second paragraph of Article (15) if Decree Law No. (14) for the year of 2002 on the practicing political rights, dates of elections are set by the Minister of Justice and Islamic affairs at least thirty days from the adoption of the resolution order or decision issuance date.
