BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa chaired at the General Command Headquarters the 8th meeting of the National Safety Council.
Discussions focused on key issues related to boosting security nationwide and ensuring continuous development of the national economy.
The council also spotlighted implementation of procedures taken to safeguard rights, protect properties and national achievements and further consolidate social cohesion.
“We are all learning lessons from the wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding patriotism and dedication,” he said commanding the efficient royal management of the crisis to help Bahrain emerge stronger.
Marshal Shaikh Khalifa hailed high patriotism and loyalty of the BDF personnel as well as their exemplary way of dealing with the crisis urging them to exert more efforts to promote security and serve their homeland and leadership.
“Our armed forces have assumed their national responsibility competently and devotedly and have been able to deter threats posed by the recent adversity,” he said stressing return of life to normal in the Kingdom.
He also praised loyal Bahraini people for their patriotism and inherent customs and traditions which have earned them respect and appreciation of all.
Those people, he said, have set an example of good citizenship and drawn an honourable national epic by showing unity and allegiance to their leadership.”
“They formed a bulwark against foreign agendas which are trying to drive wedges, incite hostility and undermine the climate of tolerance, peace and love in Bahrain through their despicable means,” he added.
