Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) is going ahead with its military plans to further groom its personnel and tap on their potentials through various training and educational programmes in order to keep them abreast of big strides in the military field.
This was stated by BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa while he received at the General Command’s headquarters a number of new graduate officers to decorate them with their military ranks and take the oath.
He congratulated the officers on their graduation thanked them for their efforts and urged them to utilize their knowledge and experience to boost their potentials and serve BDF.
He also called on the new graduates to work competently and devotedly with the BDF personnel to put their acquired theoretical knowledge and field training into practice so as to further promote Bahrain Defence Force.
Shaikh Khalifa hailed the outstanding performance of some graduates from Sandhurst Military Academy citing HRH the Crown Prince’s son Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa as an example.
He praised Shaikh Mohammed’s military excellence for which he was granted Prince Saud bin Abdullah’s Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Communication Science and Practical Behaviour Award.
He also directed the new officers to continue studying and avail of BDF training programmes in order to play their part in the Kingdom’s development and modernization process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He also lauded BDF tremendous achievements wishing its affiliates success in fulfilling their national duties.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Major General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Manpower Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, General Command Court Director Major General Yussef Ahmed Al Jalahma, Military Advisor Major General Khalid Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi and senior officers.
