Baudouin Prot, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas, one of the strongest banks in the world, met with the top leadership during his visit to Qatar on Monday.
The visit included private meetings with His Highness, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar; Sheikh Youssef Hussain Kamal, Minister of Economy and Finance; His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of State for Energy and Industry Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saud Al Thani, Governor of the Central Bank of Qatar, and other private clients.
During his visit, Prot also attended a business lunch held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, and attended by Sheikh Youssef Hussain Kamal, Minister of Economy and Finance, State of Qatar.
“With selected guests and clients from government officials, opinion leaders and key industry stakeholders within the region, the aim of this lunch was to promote Qatar’ National Vision 2030 by building upon thought leadership and fostering a positive networking environment in which dialogues between strategic stakeholders in Qatar can thrive,” the bank in a statement said.
