American aerospace giant Boeing will participate in the forthcoming edition of the Bahrain International Airshow, scheduled to be held on January 19-21, 2012.
Boeing assistant chief executive officer for marketing and sales in the Middle East Robert Johnston announced his company’s participation as met Civil Aviation Affairs Undersecretary and Bahrain International Air show High Organising Committee deputy chairman Abdulrahman Al-Qaoud on the sidelines of the eleventh consecutive European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2011) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The move is in line with directives of Bahrain International Air show High Organising Committee chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
“We reiterate our support by participating in the second edition of the Bahrain International Air show on January 19-21, 2012. We will expose Boeing Business Jet 2 and 3 (BBJ 2 and 3) for our GCC customers and luxury charter flight rental companies. We look forward to boosting investment opportunities in the region and expanding our operations in Bahrain”, Johnston said. The two sides discussed ways of boosting cooperation between Bahrain and Boeing Company.
