Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received in his office, in the presence of Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Mubarak bin Daina, MPs Abdul Halim Abdullah Murad, Adnan Mohammed Al Maliki, Ali Ahmed Zayed and Isa Ali Al Qadhi.
They discussed issues of common interest and ways of boosting coordination between the Interior Ministry and the parliament in order to further promote security and stability in the kingdom.
The MPs denounced the criminal attack which targeted the police officers in Nuwaidrat while they were performing their duty yesterday evening and called to enforce justice on the perpetrator.
They also commended the round-the-clock efforts of the security personnel to maintain order and security in Bahrain.
Shaikh Rashid hailed MPs’ keenness on national security stressing that the Interior Ministry is going ahead with its duties to impose the rule of law. Present at the meeting were the Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Security Media Director.
