Nine suspects accused of attacking an Asian Mo’azen and causing him a permanent disability, destroying private properties, entering a house without its owner’s permission and inciting attack on people stood trial on Monday before the Lower National Safety Court.
The criminal directorate adjourned the hearing to May 30, 2011 to permit the defendants to appoint their lawyers, the Military Public Prosecutor, said.
The court also adjourned to the same date and for the same reason the case of seven suspects charged with an arson attack, attempted murder, damaging university’s buildings, possessing Molotov cocktails, attacking people and theft.
The Lower National Safety Court heard other cases like taking part in a gathering in a public place with the intention of committing crimes and inciting hatred of the ruling system.
The Military Prosecution demanded the toughest penalty be inflicted on the suspects. The court hearing was adjourned to May 26, 2011.
