BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who chaired on Monday the National Safety Council’s 12th meeting, said that defending the Kingdom would remain an inherent duty of the BDF.
He extended thanks and gratitude to the leadership for the valuable directives which helped bring life back to normal in Bahrain. He also paid tribute to the security forces for their relentless efforts to ensure security and stability and protect properties.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief thanked the National Safety Council’s members for their diligent efforts to restore order hailing the armed forces’ key role in defending the nation and deterring threats.
He also stressed the BDF continuous readiness to assume its responsibilities and protect the Kingdom and its achievements.
“Defending the nation is an inherited sacred duty and a big responsibility which requires dedication and sacrifice,” he said, commending the efforts of the Peninsula Shield Force in deterring potential foreign threats.
Marshal Shaikh Khalifa credited loyal citizens for their patriotic efforts to defend Bahrain at the local and international levels and expose fallacies being disseminated by some satellite channels to undermine the Kingdom’s image and drive wedges among citizens.
