Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro inaugurated “Mango Mania” at the Lulu Hypermarket in Ramli Mall, in presence with Indian Ambassador Mohan Kumar and CEO of Bahraini-Indian Society Abdul Nabi Al Shoula.
Dr. Fakhro toured Lulu Hypermarket and briefed on the latest developments of goods and current price levels, where Regional Director Juzer Taher confirmed the availability of large quantities of food and consumer goods that offered within promotional campaigns in order to activate market movement and attract consumers. He pointed to the normal return to number of shoppers and visitors to all branches in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mango Mania is a festival that is Lulu keen to organize it every year in this season and regaining number of citizens and residents.
“Mango is considered the Queen of Fruits and arrive to Bahrain from many countries of the world led by India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brazil and Kenya and favored by many people and at the same time it is used in manufacturing many food recipes such as pickles and other foods that attract consumes from all over the world,” said Juzer.
Dr. Fakhro praised the efforts made by major shops to provide consumers needs and provide best promotional offers for goods and food commodities thus help to stimulate trade and meet Citizens and residents requirements of this material smoothly and appropriately. The minister also stressed the importance of early preparation for the Holy month of Ramadan, noting that the ministry had already begun some preparation regarding this holy month.
Afterward, the minister went to Al Huly Supermarket, where he was received by Shaker Al Huly. The minister was briefed on market developments in addition to quantities available of food. He also confirmed shop keenness on organizing promotional offers for consumers and provide all requirements of consumers goods at reasonable prices all times of the year.
