Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza received the outgoing Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Sayad Agha.
Dr. Mirza commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Sayad Agha during his tenure in Bahrain, citing the landmark development projects carried by UNDP in the kingdom, which boosted many economic and social sectors, wishing further success in his future missions.
Sayad Agha praised the support and cooperation of all government ministries and departments with him, wishing Bahrain further progress in all fields.
Dr. Mirza also received the Al Mashael Petroleum Company’s Board Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa and discussed with him energy and investment issues, pledging support for all Bahraini companies and institutions active in energy sector.
He also asserted that the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) is keen to cooperate with all energy companies in the kingdom so as to boost the national economy and take advantage of local of foreign expertise.
Shaikh Mohammed briefed Dr. Mirza on the company’s plans and projects.
